How To Run Sven Coop Server
- LinuxGSM is a command line tool for quick, simple deployment and management of a Sven Co-op Linux dedicated game server.
- Running a dedicated server and playing on it at the same time is a bit tricky and requires you to use different ports. There is a launch parameter for the game that lets you switch which port it uses, and settings in SvenDS that let you set which port the server uses.
23 rows Sven Co-op v5.0 server: The name of your server as players see it. This line comes first to minimize the chance of your server appearing as the default name Sven Co-op. Try to limit yourself to 40 characters on this. Log: on: Switch on logging of events on your server. There is little reason to turn this off unless you don't require logs.
I've been trying over the weekend to make server using hamachi so me and my friends can play Sven, but so far I have not been able to get it to work. I think the facts that all the guides out there on Sven hamachi servers are from like 2012 and before steam version was released. Can anyone on here who has experience with hamachi tell what I am doing wrong?
create network in hamachi and have people connect
run Sven dedicated server .exe in the game directory.
set connection to lan, run server.
run game, enter: 'connect ip address' in console.
I've used hamachi in the past for minecraft servers so I have some experience in creating hamachi servers. What am I missing?

Sven Co-op (abbreviated as SC) is a co-op variation of the 1998 first-person shooter Half-Life. The game, initially released as a mod in January 1999, enables players to play together on online servers to complete levels, many which are based on the Half-Life universe but include other genres. The standalone release, available free of charge, representing version 5.0 of the mod, was released in January 2016.
This repository is maintained by Laclede's LAN. Its contents are intended to be bare-bones and used as a stock server.
