Hey Link, over here! Two announcements today, for the speedrun and racing-inclined (and anyone else interested):

• As many of you know, CoNDOR organized racing leagues for NecroDancer for the past several years. We're getting started with doing the same for Cadence of Hyrule, and wanted to announce that our Cadence of Hyrule racing league will be called... CaHOOT: Cadence of Hyrule Organized Online Tournaments! We will still use the CoNDOR name both for the umbrella organization running CaHOOT, and for NecroDancer tournaments. Remember not to mash the A button when reading our announcements, or you have to hear them again.

• CaHOOT's inaugural event starts... now! CaHOOT 1 will be a Necrothon-style event where players compete to submit the best times in four categories, with $1000 in prizes ($250 per category, divided $125/$75/25 between 1st/2nd/3rd). Submission will take place on the CoNDOR/CaHOOT event server -- please join http://events.condor.live/ if you're interested in competing. We will require verification either by screenshot or, preferably, vod, and may seek additional verification for any questionable submissions.

The four categories for competition will be:

• Story mode, speed

• Permadeath mode, speed

• Double tempo mode, speed

• Fixed-beat mode, step count

All categories will be single player mode, and require completion on a blind seed (either random seed, or we will also accept submissions from playing blind seeds on necrobot/condorbot). I've seen there's not a lot of work on crypt of the necrodancer transcriptions, so I will work on making piano sheet music for the entire OST. I will also record and upload it to Youtube, just synthesia first, but live play too.
